"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10:13

Our challenge today!

I don't know about you, but I am grateful to God that He does not suffer me to be tempted above what I am able to endure and that He always makes an escape out of it. Did you know that Jesus was tempted in every way that man is tempted? Yet, he was without sin. He always makes a way to escape sin, ultimately if there is sin - it is by choice. You are able to escape by relying on Jesus and asking Him for His way out. Deliverance belongs to the Lord.

The word of God is what Jesus used to fight the enemies temptation. You can read this in the fourth chapter of Matthew, Mark or Luke. He always makes a way for us to learn through His Word how to defeat our enemies.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1John 1:9

Our challenge today!

Are you mourning for your sins? In Psalm 51, we read of David and how he was in mourning for his sins against God. God heard David's cry and blessed him because he mourned for his wrongs. In Mathew it reads, "Blessed are those who mourn and blessed are the poor in spirit." It is far greater to mourn over our wrongs than to deny them and ac… Continue

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of man cometh.” Mathew 24:44

Our challenge today!

Years ago I remember watching a series on T.V. that had a very interesting plot. The idea was that the star of the show would buy the daily newspaper and see in the headlines what he had previously had a vision about and since he knew ahead of time what was going to happen tomorrow he would try to prevent many events before they happened. Wow! What would it b… Continue

“Who hath believed our report? Moreover, to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? Isaiah 53:1

Our challenge today!

Do you believe that the dead can rise again? Who has this kind of power? It is the power of God to make us new, to give us a new life through Jesus Christ, and to raise the dead from the grave! This is the arm of the Lord! Has his arm been revealed to you? Without witnessing and believing in this great power, we cannot expect to be victorious in our life. Success come… Continue

"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14

Our challenge today!

According to Matthew, Immanuel means, "God is with us." The miracle of the virgin birth is one of hope for all of us. It is a miracle that says that God has not abandoned us to the consequences of our own sinfulness but instead, God sent Jesus as our deliverer, and our savior to save us from sin. God is with us a… Continue
